Power of "Thanks"

Saying "thanks" has often fallen to the way-side in today's society. Writing "thanks" has become even more rare. Yet, it is one of the most powerful things you can do! Not only is it the appropriate thing to, because it is so rare, it really stands out! So whenever someone goes out of their way for you, does something for you, spends extra time with you/for you, at a bare minimum make sure you say, thanks. If it is something extraordinary, such as an interview or acceptance or monetary award, a written thank you note is required.
