Treat your dorm mate as you want to be treated.

If you break it, mar it, bash it -- you own it!
     The repair charges and penalties will be added to your
         dorm bill and you won't get your semester grades until
         your bill is paid.

Do your part in keeping the place clean -- including taking your turn in cleaning your suite's bathroom.

Remember courtesy not  only to your dorm mate, but your neighbors as well -- noise level, late night activity, lights, etc.

Report any needed repairs to Res Life as soon as you notice the issue.

Make sure that you have insurance coverage
     Confirm that parents' home owners insurance covers you
        while in dorm
    OR
     Obtain renter's insurance
